How to Backup the messages
First open play store in your mobile and search 'SMS Backup & Restore' and install it.
In application home page click on setup a backup proceed further select the option whatever you want
In next page select default folder or give own custom folder as your wish
In the next option select the option your phone then schedule the backup interval and then click on backup
Your file will be saved in the folder which one you give already
You could save the file in SD card or in Google drive.All messages will be backed up now
How to Restore the messages
After setting up your new mobile or formatting old phone again you need to install the 'SMS Backup & Restore' application from play store
Open the application and click restore through menu option given
Select the folder you saved the file or from SD card or Google drive.On next page select messages and calls and then select restore
Your messages and calls will be restored in the default applications

If the messages and calls would not restore then do uninstall the 'SMS Backup & Restore' application from your phone.You will get it.
