How to reach Gangtok
By air
The nearest airport is Bagdogra airport (IXB) present in neighbor state West Bengal. From airport it will take nearly 5 hour to travel 125 kms.
The nearest railway station New Jalpaiguri (NJP) also present in West Bengal.It takes almost 5 hours to travel 120 kms.
Kanchenjunga mountain
The third highest peak in the world lies in the border of India and Nepal at an elevation of 8586m and it has 5 summits.These summits symbolise the five treasures gold,silver,gem,food grains and religion.In most seasons sunrise and sunset are very early in the city.Trekking in mountain is good in summer season.The snow capped peaks,misty clous,dense forests and stunning landscapes will made your day
